Dear Takki Fans,
After scanning and literally draining my piggy bank almost to the point of death for 5 long years, I regret to inform you that I have decided to stop ALL of my magazine subscriptions starting January 2009 (except for Tokyo Walker) as the price-hike at my local Kinokuniya branch got WAY TOO RIDICULOUS to tolerate :(((((
An illustration as to HOW RIDICULOUS their prices are:
Tokyo Walker, which is a bi-weekly magazine, costs 15 USD per issue in Indonesia, whereas it only costs about 5.50 USD per issue in Singapore (and it arrives faster too WTF?)
I'm maintaining my Tokyo Walker subscription through a friend in Singapore, because I feel it's a darn shame to stop the current essay collection right now. But as for the other magazines such as Wink Up, Duet, Potato, Popolo... I sadly must let them go.
I will, however, still try to get magazines that portray T&T or Takki on the cover.
I'm very sad that I have to stop all the subscriptions after all these long years, but I really have to say that I really can no longer maintain this hobby at such a high price.
As for the remaining magazines of 2008, yes I do have them all and I promise I will eventually scan everything and put them up in the gallery. I've just been very busy with work and life, and this hobby has been forced to take a backseat :(
This website and gallery will remain open, and I'll always try update from time to time as well. Sorry for the inconvenience, and I promise I'll get to scanning as soon as I can...

Hello Nere! Greeting from Los Angeles! Im a 20 year old, mexican-american girl. I have been visiting this blog and your gallery since 2004 or 2005..maybe even since 2003 dont remember. Im amazed that you or anyone has even done this for this long but really really thnankful for feeding my own takki obsession throughout the years...u dont know how many times you made my day cause i knew you'de have new takki pics EVERY month! I completely understand, im sure Takki would understand too. Just wanted to thank you..your efforts were not in vain nor go unnoticed. -Alex

Hi Alex! I recognized your nickname all these years but I don't think we ever really talked yeah? Anyway, I'm glad I could help feed your Takki obsession  I know I'll always be a Takki fan forever too! Once you go Takki you never go back!!!
hi nefretiri, I'm kat fm spore. ur gallery n Takki.us gallery are my most fave places to dwell in! I've start collecting since 2008 April, more or less, n it's really like once u start, u cant stop.. XDD I scanned them up too.. but I dun upkeep a gallery, just a normal blog.. so if u like, I could send the scans to u for 2009 for those 5 mags u r stopping.. feel free to email me too.. ^^

how much we paid for all paper we collected eh? XD Thanks so much for all the scans all these years! You and Jenn are the two main persons who hooked me up in this fandom LOL ps. he's not black yo! 
i can understand your situation. when i became a fan of T&T, there was a time when i was seriously considering getting all the magazines they appeared. but with my meager salary, it was not possible, so i just buy those magazines that they were on the cover. thanks for sharing your scans all these years. good job.
